So I went over to The Cork And Olive in Brandon off of Lithia the other day to scope out some Polish Ice Wine which so very expensive but I hear is also worth the price. Anyways...I was talking with the woman that worked there and she told me that they host FREE in home tastings for up 25 people. You come in and select 6 bottles of wine that they bring to your home and you and your friends get a free wine tasting from the comfort of your own home! Needless to say I was VERY excited about this! Not only is it FREE but it allows me to throw a bash! So I got inspired and starting thinking about what this bash would be like. Well I know where I would get the wine ( the FREE wine ) and I would also serve gourmet cheese, bread sticks, and olives. I'm not sure on the pairings but I can learn, and I'm sure that the employees over at The Cork And Olive would be able to lend a hand. Also, I thought that customized wine stoppers would make cute favors, Martha Stewart had an idea to use fancy drawer pulls attached to a cork with a screw as bottle stoppers. I LOVE THIS IDEA!
