Craft Party!

This happy Thursday I bring you ideas for a craft party!
I love this theme because you can take it as far as you like.
Construct a giant needle and thread for this kind of party , or just put out some subtle decor and food to keep it more low key.

I have craft night with friends.
We bring all of our craft supplies and go to town on individual projects, talking and laughing the whole time. However, I would LOVE to invite the ladies over for a more official party sometime just for fun!
I stumbled upon the darn cutest ideas and projects online this week and I am so inspired!
Take a peak for yourself!

I have WAY TOO MANY unused spools of fun ribbon lying around! Why not put them to good use? These ribbon spool plate stands are lovely and put things that I already have handy to use....gotta love that!

I simply love the idea of laying out brown paper (highly available and affordable) on the table and going to town with crayons, markers, and paints! What better time than craft night?
Although this centerpiece would be great for a dinner party too!

Every party needs food! It should be craft themed too!
Check out the tutorial on Bakerella for these lovely button cookies!

I was reading through my blog roll one day and came across this party on The Pleated Poppy
a blog written by Lindsey Cheney that's full of creative and crafty tips for parties and everyday life! Her friend Nicole frequently guest blogs and kindly shared this jem with Lindsey's readers (me!). Nicole planned a darling little sewing party for her 6 year old daughter and the details are dreamy! The decor is so cozy and sweet, makes me wish that I had been invited!

You can check out the lovely details here!

Have I inspired you to get crafting yet???
Girls night?...Anyone?
I found these simple but lovely projects this week....give em' a try!
