Super Bowl Party Food
Everyone knows that Super Bowl Sunday is real only about two things the game (of course) and the food! There are many different choices for your game day menu, keep with tradition and serve super bowl favorites like hot wings, get gourmet with miniature goat cheese pizzas, or just choose your favorites. Here are a few food ideas for your Super Bowl festivities! Chocolate rice crispy footballs ( pictured above ) are a sweet treat after lots of beer and salty foods.Follow the link to see the recipe! The food centerpiece of the party could be a big pot of chili, or meatball subs (Rachel Ray as a yummy recipe!) and just for fun bake up some fresh soft pretzels! ( who doesn't love soft pretzels??)

Super Bowl Party Tips
People all around the United States are gearing up for Super bowl Sunday which is less than one week away. For the next five days all of my posts are going to be Super Bowl themed. I have compiled some tips to make your Super Bowl shin dig a hit, and combined them with photos by Hostess with the Mostess Jennifer Sbranti. You can view more game day party pictures and much much more at hostessblog.com!
1. Position seating and angle screens so that all your guests will have a good view of the big game.
2. Set up a room without a television for partygoers who might be more interested in the social aspect of the party to sit and talk.
3. Keep paper towels and cleaner on hand to quickly clean up messes that may be created during exciting plays.
4. Provide one or two large trash cans around the viewing area in order to keep up with the trash and the game, and hopefully if the trash cans are large enough you may only need to take the trash out once during or after the party.
5. Be sure to keep some more portable snacks like chips and salsa near the viewing area, as well as one or two large coolers with plenty of ice cold beer so that no one has to miss a single play to freshen their beer. ( refill the coolers at halftime )
6. Place a small TV in the hot food area so that guests can get more food without missing a thing!

"Waiter...There's a Baby in my Drink"
You'll have your friends melting on the floor in puddles of laughter when they discover tiny plastic babies swimming in their drinks! This game is very simple....and very silly! There are special trays made just for this game but it is really easy to do it yourself too. Place tiny plastic "babies" in ice cube trays and freeze for at least 24 hours before the shower. Give all the guests cups of water with a "baby" ice cube in it all at the same time and declare the beginning of the game, the first party guest to notice that her ice has completely melted and her baby is freed must shout "My water broke!" and they are the winner of the game! You would be surprised to see what people will do to make sure their ice melts first!....Have fun!

New York! New York!
I have recently created a "travel book" full of all the places in the world I want to see. New York City is at THE TOP of my list. This book will hold all of my destination dreams and wishes. As I find out about an amazing museum or natural marvel, I write it all down in my travel book, so that one day when I do go to these places, I will know where to start. The IDEO Eyes Open New York book (available at Fredflare.com) will give me a few ideas for some good New York experiences.

The Office Party
My huband's birthday is coming up in a few months and I have decided on the perfect theme for his party...The Office! We both LOVE the show ( how could we not?) and alot of our friends do as well. Sometimes it can be a little difficult to throw a party for a guy, or to find a theme that fits just right. Luckily my search is over! (for this year anyways) Here are images that have inspired me so far.I'm thinking about renting a water cooler, I HAVE TO have a stapler in jello, and I also found this great shirt and tie cake that I think would go very nicely.

Scrabble-icious Sofas!
These funky sofas inspired by the beloved classic board game Scrabble were designed by Stephen Reed (industrial design) exclusively for the employees of the London offices of Bloomberg Financial Services. I wish so badly that they were up for sale ...but tragically they are not available for purchase at this time.

What's Not To Love About Liv Tyler?
Daughter of rock legend Steven Tyler...Liv Tyler has quickly become one of my favorite actresses. Some of her best movie appearances include Lord of The Rings (of course), That Thing You Do (my personal favorite movie of hers), as well as Armageddon. You can most recently see her in "Strangers" and "The Hulk".It is evident to me that Liv Tyler is full of charm and also a passion for what she does.

You Sank My Battleship!
So many occasions come to mind when I see these nifty ice trays! Going away party for someone who is going on a boat trip around the world, or for a friend or family member leaving to go into the navy. Wonderful idea for a game night ( just make sure you play Battleship )You could also use these for a land and sea theme alongside an assortment of seafood, perfect for a Titanic themed party, or a wedding shower for a couple going on a cruise for their honeymoon! The possibilities are endless!....you can find them at fredflare.com !
