I always love unique and usable party favors...the key being usable ( and in this case delicious!).
I saw this lovely idea at My Cakies blog.
First there was cake, then cupcakes, mini cupcakes, and now cupcakes in a jar! Oh, I'm loving this! You can get jars at the supermarket for crying our loud, how easy is that? Add either your favorite frosting/cake recipe or just use a boxed cake mix...simple and adorable!
The possibilities are endless with a party favor like this!

I love this. I'm going to have to come up with a reason to do this:)

What a fun concept. I would love to make these sometime.
ReplyDeleteMini trifle dishes (same concept) are on sale at Crate and Barrel right now! They're the cutest things *ever* and wee trifles are definitely making an appearance at the Cornish Fairies birthday party I'm planning for next month. On a similar note, have you seen pies in a jar? Freeze them unbaked, bake directly in jar for a perfect single serving.
